Hello LS,

Some know my story, some don't. Short relationship, it's 3 months ago since I broke up with her. I had my reasons, loved her very much, but it didn't work out (doesn't really matter anymore) I had 2 months of total NC, broke it once and now I'm on 1 month of NC. It broke my heart, I really cared for this girl and loved her very much. I was devasted and an emotional wreck. Nowadays the pain is much less and I don't think about her very much, sometimes she slips my mind. But I know I will be in an emotional rollercoaster if I see her. I think she would dumped me in the future, so please don't hate me because I'm the dumper. I think I bailed out before I was dumped! (so maybe I'm the dumpee anyway).

2.5 weeks ago she sended me a message regarding some old memories she saw in her telephone and asked me how I was doing. I didn't respond to it, I knew it would set me back. But today, one day before her birthday she sends me another message. "Fine I guess?" This refers to her message of 2.5 weeks ago. What does she mean? I think she is over me and want to contact me as a friend? Maybe it's her birthday? I won't respond to her and don't congratulate her for her birthday because I think it would be a great setback for me. Do you have any ideas?

Well, you already told us your game plan. So, what exactly did you want to know?

Why would she contact me again? I didn't respond to her last message and now she send me another one.

Are there any reasons to contact me?

OP,

No one here can tell you exactly why she called. Your decision to stay NC is what is best for you and I highly encourage you do that for your own well being. I can't tell you why she contacted you I'm sorry. Just keep the focus on you.
