If she wants me back, should I play hard to get?

Even though I was dumped, I would want to be back with my ex, if asked. The question is, should this unlikely situation arise, would it be better for me to agree right away or should I act like I need time to think about it? I would think the latter would make her sweat it out more and make her realize that I am just not forgetting about our past problems like they never happened. I appreciate your thoughts.

That would be playing games and that's never good. If you play hard to get don't you think she'll say, "forget it, if he really wanted me back he would have said yes right away". That's too childish. If you like her and you want her back go for it without the games though. Good Luck :)

Good point. If I'm lucky enough to have that opportunity, I'll just jump on it. Thanks.

If you want to get back togeather don't play games but remember to set standards/ limits on how you would like to be treated and if she doesn't meet them you shouldn't continue the relationship.

I concur. As I posted in your other thread, you may find that playing mind-games will drive you as crazy as her. Perhaps more so.

Be brave. Be mature. Be a gentleman!

I have broken up and gotten back three times with my current girlfriend. My only advice is if it feels right then you owe it to yourself to find out if it will work. Try forget the past and move forward. Talk about what went wrong before and stay open and honest to each other. We still do have our problems, but i know I love her and we always talk about how we should have always been together.

Relationships are never easy, but with a little hard work, determination and trust, they can be very fulfilling!!!

Don't appear to be too eager to get back together... Yes, it's playing games. The thing is, we like to play games - games are fun!
