So I met my boyfriend online, he's was a great catch by the way! he's cute, has a masters in stats, he got his **** down! etc.. So while we were dating for about 3 months he was unemployed and got a great job at the cenus bureau in Washington DC. I'm from LA. I just turned 21 and he's turning 25 soon, so we had a plan that he would get settled and I would finish school I visited during winter break for 2 weeks and I loved it so much so after finishing school Im here in DC now for 2 months to see if we could handle living with each other. BUTTTTTT.... I'm hesitant to move here because I just turned 21 and while I was in LA barely stating to go out I loved it so much. I'll be leaving my friends and family and I was accepted to a CalState. I wouldnt mind going to school here but I'm worried because its out of state, and I'm not made of money. ----important to mention that I'm at a odds because when he had a online profile what I did was made a fake one and caught him flirting,but I let it go and to my surprise after I visited he had made a new one, I found out couple of months when I got back! and it was to make friends because he didn't have any..blah blah and he did some flirting again. But he deleted it. So again as I was snooping now in that i was in DC I saw some flirty emails from some chick, so I contacted her and what I found out was that they met online, she showed him around DC and she told me that he never gave off the I want to bang vibe.That they were just going around DC, but that one night they got intimate, did not have sex though, but some macking and foreplay. They both told me this, he said they were drunk, she said they were not. This happened before my winter break and he said it was hard, and he only has eyes for me, Its great when I'm here and I love him so much when I'm here and when I'm home. anyways I'm not sure whether I should stay in DC or just go home. Should I still move or move on? I really need advice Thank you so much if you read all that.
umirano Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Most 21yo are too young to get into a committed LTR in my opinion. You could be different. But it's a big investment. Leaving friends and family. And the money. You don't want to be completely dependent on your BF for sure. So I'd advise you to take things easy. Also, in my book opening accounts on such websites are a no no, esp. when they lead to meeting other women alone.

LDR's rely and thrive mostly on trust and honesty. My advise...cut your losses, go back to LA where you have family and friends. You're young and have your life ahead of you. There will be other guys...in the same area where you live.
