I think I posted this question in the wrong forum so I'm reposting it here. Wasn't aware there was a general relationship discussion forum.

 

I just went through a breakup not even a week ago. He has the Grass is Greener syndrome and left me for another woman. I feel like he'll try and contact me in the future...months down the road. So I'm asking this question to get some insight on this selfish act. So why is that? They hurt you in the worst way imaginable and then several months down the road they have the audacity to think they have a chance at getting you back? After breaking your heart and then leaving you heart broken for months on end HAPPY while you're miserable. What's their logic in thinking when they do this? Because clearly its not logical thinking.

they're the types that only enjoy the "getting presents" part of Christmas. You don't mean anything to them except a way for them to boost their own ego. They think they world revolves around them and everyone else is a side character. so yeaaa... there are *******s in the world. yep.
