Geez, I had a long post here, and then my browser restarted, when I was in the shower. It kept the thread title, but lost all of the post content. Damn it.

I have a bad habit of posting on loveshack when I'm in the shower.

Showering is a good habit, so I think it cancels that out. ;)

Sorry about that. I meant to come back the next day, and add in what I wanted to say in the original post. I'm trying to motivate myself in specific ways; areas in which I used to have no problem with motivation.

I'm heading back outside for a while though. I've been out there all afternoon, and want to enjoy a few more hours.

lol...I love this post for the beautiful irony :)

anyway, just some tips that helped me with motivation...if you tend to overthink things, then go ahead and think of all the ways that not doing what you want to do will affect you, and what you will miss out on if you don't do whatever it is (ie. go up to that pretty girl or guy and talk to her/him, go to that random meetup or sports event, taking a left at the fork in the road instead of the usual right)

soon you will find that positive motivation becomes instantaneous because thinking negatively is ultimately a waste of time and won't get you anywhere...you miss out on so much more than trying and not being successful at first. practice doesn't make you perfect (there is no such thing!), but it makes you a whole lot better

now, you can go back to your new good habit and take another shower :p
