Feelin Frisky Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 It's finally hot here. And I hate heat. It's 90 outside. Last year Summer seemed to start in March and it was hot every freaking day. But this year it was delightfully cool here until yesterday. Boom, I think the heat is here again for good and I just want to be cool.

This album ALL 13 tracks are masterpieces. The best album for years and years. 1
fiftyofsomethin Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Meh. I usually dig retro. However, retro with the trademark auto-tuned voice over it just didn't work for me. I like a ton of their other **** though. And to answer your question. I have a few grad parties to go to (we just graduated HS) However, I do feel you. Sitting at home alone on the weekends absolutely sucks donkey ****. Today is just an exception. I have a feeling I will be spending quite a few of my days alone. But the way I get over it is truly to just stop worrying about what other people are doing. That's how I get through it.
maturityassets Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 It has been the first Saturday home since the BU happened over 2 months ago. Hit me hard today. Did my best to cope though. Had a couple of beers, bought an e-cig (tried it at a party about a week ago, don't recommend it and I'm not a smoker just thought it was fun), and listened to my old punk/emo music for the day. Had a couple of angry rants, shed a tear or two, checked her FB which hasn't been updated in a while (good thing because I don't see anything, but if I know her means she is out with some guy when not posting anything because if she is with family or friends always post something) but whatever who cares! I'm home. I'm bored. Bit exhausted from working out and taking walks all the time. Wasn't in the mood to hang out with anyone. Took a break from talking to the girl I'm dating atm. Tomorrow I will return back to self improving and keeping myself preoccupied but today Its all about self indulgence. I love this site as well. To hell with the ex and cheers!
SimonSerenade Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I'm spending my Saturday night playing devil may cry, it's kind of crappy compared to the devil may cry's of old, other than that I'm trying to get into one republics latest album, not quite as good as the last one, think I might cheer myself up a little and watch some classic television, hmmm everybody loves Raymond for a bit of loveable frank? Or some good old laughs watching Frazier?, tough choices >.<
fiftyofsomethin Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 We should throw a party PROJECT L Who's with me guys? 2
BustedUpInside Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 PROJECT L Who's with me guys? I would like a code name. Something with a snake or animal name in it would be good. Also, walkie talkies.
BLo7687 Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I'm usually out every weekend but this weekend definitely sucked. I stayed in. Most of my friends are taken now so I'm assuming they're spending time with their significant others as nobody hit me up for plans. Last year, if I wasn't hanging out with friends..he was there to keep me company and have "bf/gf date nights". I really miss those. Definitely feels lonely as hell. Plus the Heat lost (big fan) so I was pretty bummed about that.
Hockeyguy19 Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Went out tonight, to the club, first time since bu, met up with friends, great time, didnt think of her until now. Talked to some women, went home alone but I'm okay with that, not what I want right now. I see light, it's dim but I see it now, and it's feels good, I deserve this. To be happy, to see a future. I may be drunk but I know what's right, she was not. Back to the beer! 2
Giha Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Went out with a friend to eat. His gf of five years wanted to take a break so we had a good talk. Was nice. Rest of the time I just tried to occupy my thoughts with hobbies or just talking to friends, and went to the gym last night (really helpful). Never thought I'd say it but man weekends are crappy

Hockeyguy19 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Organized about 15 people to go out tonight and have some (okay okay alot) of drinks. Should be a fun night, getting out of the house is key.
