BLo7687 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Since your BU? It's already been 5 months for me and it still feels like it was yesterday. I'm at the age where I don't want to be doing this whole dating bs for another 2 or 3 years and things fall apart/don't work out. I'm hoping my next one is my last to be honest
BustedUpInside Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I have been single since the end of December, so about five months. I can completely relate to the starting dating over thing. It is so hard to meet people without a ton of baggage who are interested in pursuing a long term commitment.
th90 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Since your BU? It's already been 5 months for me and it still feels like it was yesterday. I'm at the age where I don't want to be doing this whole dating bs for another 2 or 3 years and things fall apart/don't work out. I'm hoping my next one is my last to be honest I'm with you! Been single for 6-7 months. I'm at a phase in my life where relationship isn't going to work for me. Gonna wait for another 1-2 years at least Just find happiness on my own and improvise myself wherever possible till the right time comes.
lop98 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 2 months... I met him 3 or 4 days after break up but didn't really start until a couple months later. It's weird.
seahawker64 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Almost 4 moths and since March 21rst, of NC when I sent her a scathing text when I found out she was cheating before we broke up.
Hockeyguy19 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 2 months now, still feels like yesterday too. I'm at an age where dating sucks, I'm 30 now and it's tough to start over meeting new people, and I hate being single. But I am, again. Not sure how long I will be single for, but I fear it'll be awhile to meet someone and trust again.
carhill Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 My exW and I were legally divorced in late 2010 but were 'split up' since June '09, so about four years now.
OzHeartache Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 10 weeks for her to have "space", officially let go 2 weeks ago
BigTuna Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Since the end of December. Went on a few dates with a girl in & around April, but I just wasn't feeling it. Half because I'm still thinking about my ex (to this day) and half because the last thing I wanna do at the moment is settle down. Felt she was into that idea so I stopped seeing her. Got some ghosts to lay to rest.
Jono85 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 about a year now. don't see really putting myself out there until i see improvements in certain areas of my life.
