zero_pistons Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Okay, I drove down to toronto with my buddy Matt this weekend, and met up with his friends (pretty even ratio of guys to girl, which is a nice change from the sausage factory I call residence at college)..anyways, we smoked up and drank a bit (classic weekend) and went to this girl Shannon's house to drink more...I met all of matt's guy friends and we were instant buddies (i have NO problem making friends with guys; for some reason girls just scare me....); we all went out after Tim and Toby (Matt's friends) were all drunk and some of the girls came to and we caused a ruckus ....just being stupid kids messing around, like taking caution tape amd pylons and blocking off roads....young and stupid i know, but we had one hell of a time. I wish there was people like that in my town; it was crazy even the girls were into it. Anyways I got talking to Shannon (her house if you remember) and eventually it was just me and her sitting outside smoking cigarettes talking about meaningless ****....for some reason it was interesting with her...we talked about hopes and dreams and what we are going to do....it was like that for hours, just cuddling on the bench on her front yard (with matt or tobyrunning outside and busting us every 15 minutes, good times)....eventually by the end of the night (actually about 6AM lol) we kissed. It was just a 15 seconder, little tongue, nothing major, but it effing rocked. We went inside and fell asleep on the couch in her living room for about two hours, and I remember looking down at her face when she was sleeping and wishing I lived there so we could do it all over again. She has the most unbvelievable beautiful face I have ever seen, and I just wished she lived close. That was friday night/saturday morning. Matt said we would drop by later on saturday but we ended up getting way to retarded and falling asleep in front of the TV at like 3 in the morning. So I never got to see her again. Anyways roday (sunday) on the ride home Matt said he could get her number and everything from his friends so I will have that and probably her email too so i can keep in touch. She lives about an 8 hour (and we werent going slow) drive from where i am staying at college. Next weekend Im going to Hamilton for thanksgiving so I might see her then; but then it will be christmas, then march breah, then finally in the summer I will likely be back working full time with my car so I will be able to get to see her regularly. In your honest opinion, is this something I should pursue? I mean, its far, I only saw her for one night, and everything seemed to happen in a split second. For some reason though, I just had fun. thx in advance -zero

I met my ex in Egypt (he´s American and was working there and I live in Germany) and I wouldn´t have minded a long-distance relationship, because I was soooo in love with him. Hmmm, hmmm, I should add that it´s over now and that I was maybe way too romantic about it while he obviously wasn´t, so I would be careful about this. If you´re not really in love it´s not going to work out. He had another long-distance relationship, this time with an American and she went home and it just did take that long till she made out with an ex-boyfriend, they still decided to give it a try, but a couple of months later they decided to quit. So, I´d say, be careful about it.
