When_In_Rome Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I went out with a girl about a year and a half ago. She seemed really cool. For the second date, we were going to hang out at my place, but about an hour before, she called and cancelled (really lame excuse). I haven't talked to or heard from her since. I was thinking about talking to her on fb or texting her - with the goal of eventually hanging out. Bad idea? (don't know if this matters but I've lost a lot of weight and gotten in pretty good shape since then).

Except, they were contacting me once they found out I wasn't fat anymore. By creeping my FB page. I met them. I realized they complete basket cases & I could do better. I never contacted a woman just to say "hey, am I now good enough for you?" after I got in shape. It just seems so self-defeating in the confidence department to me.
FitChick Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 If you met and each had a good time, I think she was turned off by your inviting her to your place. Sounds like a booty call. It couldn't hurt to contact her mentioning "You may not recognize me now..." Then ask her out on at least three "real" dates before suggesting she come back to your place.
