Hockeyguy19 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 So tomorrow I have an 8 hour interview, the biggest and most important of my life/career. I just drove 11 hours to get here and I'm a little rattled. She used to always come with me for things like this, keeping me company, helping me prep for the next day, and now she's not here, she's with him, and it sucks. Ugh this so ****ty. I need to nail this tomorrow, and while I'm prepared, I can't focus the way I should be, she won't get out of my head. Why do we let people become such a large part of our lives? Especially those who will turn our lives on its head. I guess I'm just stressed right now and a tad bit emotional, I'm going to end this rant here.
avelonia2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Hey, I know it's hard, but you have to do whatever you can to focus. Congrats on the big day! This is about you and your life now, so try thinking about the positive goals you are looking to accomplish with this interview tomorrow and where it's going to take you. Chin up and best wishes! Sending positive thoughts through cyber space. 1

aisuru Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Tuck thoughts of her away for now. If you must, imagine her cheering for you. Then, prepare yourself. Be ready. Get some good sleep. MOST OF ALL, GOOD LUCK!!! :bunny::bunny:
crederer Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 What if you just body checked the interviewer into the boards? That would win me over!
Darren Steez Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Think about it like this, she misses out on an important chapter in your life.. if you nail this, this is the beginning of a new start for you..you don't get to wallow in the same old same old, stuck at home everything reminding you of her...most people dont get that chance. Good luck to you.
