starla33 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 would you go on a 2nd date with someone that is attractive, but on the first date was really boring and didn't make you laugh once and you had to carry the whole conversation?
happykat Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I would give it one more try.. Maybe he was nervous? My general rule is to give it two dates and if there's no "click" forget it.. 2

Addison312 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Give him some alcohol. He was probably nervous. Don't throw out an attractive man after just one date! 1
Ninjainpajamas Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Tell him you'll go on a second date with him....but only if he makes you laugh

MalachiX Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 No. If you guys don't click as far as humor goes then I don't think there's much hope. At least, I've always taken that philosophy. I never try for a second date if I can't make her laugh on the first. 1
xpaperxcutx Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Second date generally gives them hope thinking this is going somewhere. 1
apple OR orange Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Sounds like you might not be a match, however some guys are alpha male and dont make others laugh. I would say 2 dates, get some questions about what hes in to etc... and see what happens. 2
Vinegar Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I have been on a few really boring dates. if he is as boring is you say he is it probably isn't going to get much better only a little once he gets to know you. It probably is his personality because I've given guys more than one chance and this is what I usually find. If you don't want to waste too much time talk to him on the phone and see if you get the same feeling like he's really boring. at least if you're talking on the phone you can do other things while you talk to him so you don't have to waste your whole night. but then again a second date doesn't hurt if you want to be sure. I certainly don't think it would be leading him on.
mortensorchid Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Hmmm... Boring like how? I'd been out with others who are completely distracted or just not interested in me and it shows. Why? I don't know, you just aren't right for one another. I'd move on if you haven't heard from him.

And I get a lot of dates so I do have other options....not desperate for a date really
