Just wondering if anyone has tried this, or heard of it?

It is an emotional healing therapy developed by Roger Callahan, an American clinical research psychologist. It looks at using merdians, or energy pathways, to treat emtional problems, and help eliminate anxiety, fears, obsessions, phobias etc

It involves tapping on certain points on the body, while doing other exercises, such as breathing etc, along with other things.

I am about to start trying it, as a lady I know through my meditation etc, has begun teaching it.

I am hoping it will further help reduce my obsessions and anxiety.

Never heard of it. Sounds kind of quackish, to be honest.

Wow, that sounds really cool. I have never heard of it. When you go, make sure to post about it, I'd love to know more!!

I do Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (no meds though) for my anxiety disorder. Has helped me so much. But learning other ways to better yourself always catches my eye!

Good luck!!

If it works, I'd like to hear about it though. Sounds interesting.

Sounds like a variation on EMDR. These folks would do better, IMHO, if they didn't propagate pseudo-theories. It may well be there are such meridians, etc. but they'd sound less quackish if they'd stick to the facts.

LOL! I was having lunch with this lady the other day, and she took me through a few exercises. If nothing else, it made me feel very relaxed and sleepy!! That in itself is a good thing for me, considering I usually find it very hard to slow down and relax.

She also does many other things, such as counselling, and talking to her was also theraputic.... so I reckon...I'm going to see her a bit more...

Any therapy that makes you feel relaxed and sleepy can't be all bad. Now I'm thinking I might look it up. I need a nap.
