His sisters and I are still friends. His mom personally called me to say she would break my legs if I didn't go to her Memorial Day BBQ lol. Along with it being a Memorial Day BBQ it is also a surprise bday party for my friend V and the spouse of the other sister.

 

My ex asked me to go to because he misses me and wants another chance. Blah blah. This isn't even about him because if it were, I would avoid this BBQ all together.

 

I've decided to go. I don't think he's worth throwing away the great friends I have that are associated with him. I'm kind of indifferent about seeing him.

 

This is good, right?

 

I just hope I'm not making a mistake by going today.

It's good for you. Since you are indifferent about seeing him at this point and really want to go to see your friends - you'll be ok.

 

Looks like it will be different on his end though...
