i Have recently noticed my coworker may like me..how do i know and do i ask him out

I am 27.My co-worker is not much younger.

 

I have reason to believe he might like me.

 

My friend at work always asked me about him whenever we were talking about guys. She said she thinks he likes me and its obvious.

 

He shows concern when I am angry or upset at work

He says hi to me multiple times a day..

He leans into me when talking sometimes

He helps me with work even after he has finished for the day and is off the clock.

He stares at me when we are talking longer than normal sometimes

I've seen him looking at me sometimes from far away

When he was sick he told me he needed someone to cuddle at night to make him feel better.

when I was upset he bought me a lolly from the vending machine and told me to cheer up

He talks to me more than any other girls..

 

but im not sure is he just being nice?

 

things got weird for a little bit there,i felt he was avoiding me and was a little nervous when he spoke to me the other day.He turned red too.
