Tinie Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Yeah this is one of those "is he into me?" threads. There's a guy in my faculty who I'm interested in, and I have a gut feeling that he's into me. We both are undergrad students, working in the same chem lab and share the same office space (which is also shared by my prof's graduate students) but for different profs. Every morning, he greets me with a "good morning!" and he sounds thrilled when he does it. We seem to be making a lot of eye contact and when he sees me looking he smiles. He's waved across the room at me before. He also holds the door for me, and I noticed he rushes ahead to open it for me. He doesn't initiate conversations with me often, however he is very chirpy and talkative when I talk to him. He is his prof's only student, so if he talks to anyone it's usually to the other undergrad student (a guy) working for my prof. I've never seen him talk to any girls before and he's been in two of my classes last semester. He seems like he mostly keeps to himself. But his behaviour is something I'm finding difficult to ignore, and my gut is telling me he's interested. I'm totally at ease making conversation with him- I don't shy away from guys, I have more guy friends than girl friends, and I get hit on on a regular basis and have been told by many people I'm good looking. So, I'm not afraid of making a fool of myself, I think I'm afraid of rejection because I'll be disappointed. So, can you lovely Loveshack people tell me if there's a chance for me? He's coming in on Tuesday to work on his experiments, so if I have a chance, I'll chat him up.
