SadHumiliated Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Got confirmation they are together, although my mutual friend said the girl my ex cheated with is having doubts about the relationship. Apparently she thinks it's a " bad idea for them to date". This news made me feel numb, happy, angry, and sad all at once. I need distractions or words of advice. Also, apparently she DIDN'T know the circumstances surrounding our break up and thought he and I had been broken up months before. I decided to email her and tell her exactly what went on. I've never done that before. It wasn't an angry email, and it wasn't an accusatory email...I stuck to the facts. I sent that email for me...and now I feel like the last lingering positive feelings I had are totally gone. I needed to do that for me. So I did. I don't care what she does with the info. My side of the story was finally told. Maybe it wasn't the best thing to do. The anxiety in my chest released the moment I hit send. Emotionally I feel much lighter.
SuperGeek Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Good. Now block them on FB, email, and delete the phone number. Wash your hands of it and move on You deserve better.
Author SadHumiliated Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Good. Now block them on FB, email, and delete the phone number. Wash your hands of it and move on You deserve better. They've been blocked on facebook for a month now, as well as email. I gave myself to the end of May to delete their phone number from my phone, at the two month mark. That will be the finale for me. I've handled this welll, and with dignity. I look forward to finding someone who really loves me and who will respect me.
