So....I got blocked by an ex on Facebook for apparently initiating contact with her too much after she ended things with me. Just so you know, she ended things after 4 months because she wasn't over an ex and lead me on very badly which she admitted to. She did clearly say afterwards that she wanted to stay friends and talk and hang out with me. In the space of a week this clearly changed.

I messaged her a few too many times (Once every week) which she clearly didn't like as nearly every time she was quite unfriendly and snappy with me. I guess I wanted her to be honest and tell me she didn't want to talk to me rather than make me get the picture. I would have preferred honesty especially after the way she treated me.

So I got blocked by her and the last thing she said was "please don't contact me again". So I didn't. She also deleted my phone number at the same time.

Only 6 weeks later and having now gotten into a better place mentally because I had no Facebook to look on she suddenly shows up on suggested friends!?!?

Why oh why would she un-block me so soon? She has not even messaged me or sent me a friend request but, she went out of her way into her block list to unblock me specifically. Why not keep me blocked longer or forever?

What was her motivation?

Decent replies appreciated :)

I won't block her as I don't have the heart to, I'd feel bad.

Why does it matter? She's an ex. Block her and wash your hands of it.

To see if you would beg for her back.

Good point, which is why you should block her ass ASAP and be done with it!

I don't consider 6 weeks to be soon…

From what you said - it's obvious she originally blocked you because she didn't want you to contact her.

She is either ready to deal with your emails or doesn't care anymore or she is curious about you.

Don't do anything - if she wants to talk to you she will.
