Weekends whole weekend? 2 days a week? Once a week? I am talking sleeping over how many times a week? And just seeing them for dinner how many times a week (not including sleep overs)

I'm just wondering what's a good healthy relationship spending time with someone. I don't have a bf I was just wondering what is healthy relationship spending time status. For example, spending TOO much time with them isn't great. Spending once a week with them isn't great. So what's great?

It's however much time you want to spend with him. If you want to spend every night with him, then that's the healthy amount. If you want to spend one night a week with him, then that's the healthy amount. It's however much time you want to spend without sacrificing your own life. If both of you don't match on this, then that's an incompatibility that you'll have to resolve with him. How long have you been dating?

And just seeing them for dinner how many times a week (not including sleep overs) When my H and I were dating, (we were 19 and 22 when we met and we are 29 and 31 now,) we would see eachother about 3-5 times a week. We lived about a half an hour drive from one another. He would usually stay at my place on weekends as both his friends and my friends lived closer to me. We would usually spend Friday to Sunday together most weekends and enjoy our friends 2-3 weekends a month. Sometimes it was my friends. Sometimes it was his. Sometimes we got the whole whack of them together and partied. Lol. During the week, we would see one another a few times, whether it be for a few hours, or the night. He did have night shifts here and there during his apprenticeship and had to travel at some points too, so depending on where we were in our relationship, my answer changes. Lol. When we were younger, we have a lot of changes due to work and school. Now that we are older, we see one another all the time. We work the same schedule now, so that is really helpful. There were times I would only see him on Sunday. Sometimes we would only see one another on weekends after we moved in together because he was working 300km from home and staying in a hotel from Sunday night to Friday morning and then driving home after work on Friday. It changed as our circumstances changed. While we both lived at home, we saw one another quite a bit though.
D-Lish Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 When I met my exH, we had our first date, then began spending every single day together. It felt right for both of us to do that. Neither of us wanted to be apart after meeting, and nothing about that felt unhealthy. It's all relative. 2
Leigh 87 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I would say that most people within the western dating culture that are not overtly religious, would want to at least text and call a person they were into every day. Unless either one of the people were in a very demanding career, most people tend to want to talk and be around the person they are falling hard for. I have not met anyone from my culture who did not want to see or talk to a person they were really into a lot. I guess initially it is better to start slowly and build trust up before spending too much time together. Then again it is all relative: you get to know them a lot faster if you spend all your time together! Personally, if I meet a guy and we are both really crazy about each other and we are definitely falling in love, then I would be fine with 4 days a wek contact and sleep overs from the get go. That is just me though. At least I would know early on if we would last or nor, rather than drawing it out for months to see how we worked out.
