Airborne Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 if his girlfriend ignores him for 2 weeks straight? No texts, no returned calls, no nothing. Or is caring being too needy? Keep in mind they had no plans scheduled during this time and it's a well established relationship, over 6 months dating.
TaraMaiden Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 2 weeks?? 2 weeks is not good. On anyone's calendar..... 2
clia Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I hate to break the news, but I don't think you have a girlfriend anymore. 3
xpaperxcutx Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Only plausible reason is that she got into an accident, ended up in the hospital and ended up in a coma.... 1
Author Airborne Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 She called me for the first time in weeks yesterday and seemed affectionate enough. She was busy moving into a new place but that should take a few days tops. Who doesn't have 15 seconds to send a text at the end of the day? At least once a week? Anyway I'm being told I don't have a right to be pissed about it. This is her telling me she wants to break up right? Just checking.
tricolors Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 If you've been dating for 6 months, two weeks with no communication is ridiculous, and you have the right to be annoyed. Maybe she doesn't want to break up with you, but she's got some explaining to do...did she say she wants to go out with you soon?

Sounds like she's just not that into you if you weren't even worth a quick text or call to explain she was moving. Sorry she wasn't in a coma.
therhythm Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 It is very strange to say the least. I think she owes you a good explanation or you should be looking for another girlfriend who doesn't disappear for two weeks out of the blue! 1
BoneyHadger Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 You are obviously allowed to feel anything you want. How you act on it is a different issue. In that case posters before me nailed it - she doesn't sound like your girlfriend at all. I'm being told I don't have a right to be pissed about it. Did she told you that herself?
TaraMaiden Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 And you contacted her during this time, right...? I think you should go NC and be the one to break up with her....
Author Airborne Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 did she say she wants to go out with you soon? I'm out of town on business until early June. We have plans to take a mini vacation for a few days when I get back but she didn't mention anything about it. I'm thinking of changing the plans to exclude her. Sounds like she's just not that into you if you weren't even worth a quick text or call to explain she was moving. Sorry she wasn't in a coma. It crossed my mind. I checked the obituaries in the hometown paper a few times but nothing came up there. She's into me physically when we're together, that's for sure. Women can't lie about that. But we do struggle to find things to talk about sometimes. Did she told you that herself? Yes. Talk about a lack of respect. And you contacted her during this time, right...? I sent a few texts at the beginning and called her. Then waited for her to get back to me which took 2 weeks. I think you might be right TaraMaiden.
crederer Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Whaaat? 2 weeks? People have trouble going two days without breaking NC on here....
