stormy Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 so theres this guy ive been flirting with, he told me sweet dreams at the end of a letter. Does that mean anything ? is it an endearing phrase, or just casual.?
tokyo Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I don´t think this means a lot or reveals enough information to deduce anything from it. Some people are generally a bit flirtatious or more charming and will say sweetie, honey, or whatever when they´re talking to a woman. You shouldn´t jump to any conclusions to quickly.
Papillon Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 Lemme get this straight: This guy wrote you a letter? A *WHOLE* Letter? Not half a letter? A whole one? Correct? But you wanna know what his intentions are through two words thrown in as a farewell? C'mawn....
tokyo Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 Papillon made a good point. Whatever he wanted to say he could have said in the letter. I think it´s true, if a guy wants something you will know. When I was younger I also always wondered if a guy wanted something or not. I now think if a guy wants something he will probably find a way to let you know, the rest are flirts and fun You know, stop wondering too much. He will write you more if he likes you, that is more significan than a "sweet dreams".
Scangie Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 stormy, your post reminded me of a long conversation I had with some friends in college about a guy saying "Take care" -- no kidding, we spent HOURS analyzing his use of that particular phrase. "Sweet dreams" is not code for anything -- it's just a friendly ending. (And relax!!!)
Majik45 Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I tell people sweet dreams all the time, especially if I'm talking to them at night. I wouldn't read too much into that particular phrase.
