Ha, many American men would love a Brazilian woman. Maybe you could swap identities with an American man who wants to move to Brazil to find Brazilian women? Honestly, I'm not sure. As an American, I find it weird when someone says American women are foreign. I guess thats how everyone else in the world thinks when someone from abroad says that their women are foreign. Try Match.com or Plenty of Fish or something and just try to hit it off with an American woman. Also, go to your more toursity friendly parts of your own country and I'm sure you will run in to a few American women. Also, is ther a part of Sao Paulo, Rio, or else where that has a large ex-patriot community? Maybe try there.

Don't all of the major dating sites have the option of searching internationally? I'm pretty certain they do.

I tried to search on Match for Lviv, UA,where some friends live and one of the places I visited a number of times while dating internationally, and returned three results for all of Ukraine, all men. Interestingly, one can find another 'Match' which has a .ru suffix and has zero to do with the Match we recognize as a dating site here in the US but treads upon its name recognition to solicit business.

 

I have dated internationally, so am pretty aware of how targeting and efficiency varies widely depending on where one wishes to go. Also, native language dating sites can often offer better matches and variety than those which are targeted at English-speaking foreigners.

I'm not so sure that American women are into dating men from other countries as much as American men are into dating women from other countries.

 

Of course I could be wrong about that.

I have no idea of statistics but, surprisingly, back when I was participating, there were indeed western, meaning western European/American, women seeking out male partners from Eastern Europe/FSU/CIS. This was back when the internet was in its infancy so I presume the dynamic has accelerated as both the internet and other communication has become more available and cheaper, as well as where formerly disadvantaged countries/regions have gained more economic stability and/or prosperity. Variety can be, for some, the spice of life. People are, generally, becoming more 'worldly'; LS is a great example. We have men and women from all over the world here discussing topics of interpersonal relationships.
