IOW the man is leading his dick in a smart direction instead or risking sleeping with a partner that's throwing off red flags. Sex always comes with an emotional/psychological/relational/physical/and in this case career risk. Plenty of men don't factor those in when they crawl in the sack. And then they screw themselves as well. And typically blame the old "bitches be crazy" mentality. Yes, she was crazy, but you knew that and stuck it in crazy. So now you've, for instance, got a kid, or a rape charge, or she got waaaaay too attached and went mental at work, or she blades you behind the back. Or she told your girlfriend, whatever. What have you.....

 

A LOT of guys play sexual roulette and then talk about how women "don't take responsibility" because he was doing "what a guy does" and she "manipulated/guilted/aggressed/got pregnant/made a bunch of sh*t up" even though all of the signs and maybe even you were DIRECTLY told or warned what the deal was.

 

All of those things make a potential NSA that is fun for some guys, NOT FUN for a guy that sees the risk and doesn't want to be led by his dick to make a stupid decision.

 

Keenly knows that sex is not this finite, low-consequence thing that will "never come again" if he doesn't "get his now."

Ok, you are telling me that sex has risks (physicals, emotional, in this case career wise) but I still fail to see how that has anything to do with self respect...

Adults understand the risks of their actions, some prefer to live a rather safe life other a more adventurous life with risks they are aware of.. both choices are rational and defensible.
