ja123 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 When was her birthday? And didn't you ruin the "Surprise" by mentioning what you were thinking about for the "first" gift idea? How is it that she ended up buying the first gift idea for herself?
Keenly Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Sounds like she is behaving like a spoiled brat. Based on the info you are providing.
apple OR orange Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 hummm, dump her... hi, i am going to buy you "item". ooo i see you bought "item" she says "i am so mad at you for not buying me "item"". Ansnwer is "well you bought "item" so i cant buy it, grow up".
Jbum5 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 You're being a simpleton. Unless she's downright materialistic, the fact that you didn't buy her something tangible isn't really what's upsetting her. More likely than not, it's your actions (or lack of, at least in her perspective) that conveys to her the idea that you just don't give two hoots. In other words, she's probably angry because she feels like you don't care enough about her.

He didn't say he would . She would still be guilty of not communicating and instead just being mad and expecting him to know what the issue is.
mortensorchid Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Um ... That's sticky there. You said you were thinking about buying the item, then all of a sudden she goes out and buys the item for herself? Was it something that she really wanted anyway? What was it? As for her throwing a tantrum over it ... Well that's another sign I don't like to hear. That could be something else in itself.
Tinie Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Maybe she should put on her big girl pants, grow up, and stop being so demanding and materialistic.
