Him - "I know you will say no, but I would like to see you and B (my son) at V and S surprise party."

My response? - "Nah, dont think its a good idea"

I'm friends with his sisters (we were friends before I met him) so I feel terrible about not going - but at the same time, they completely understand why I won't go.
