We've only been dating for about 3-4 weeks and we speak heaps, see each other quite often, just the other day he said that he "fell in love with my eyes first"... but he's never said he loves me.

I want to know what this means?

Did he just say it randomly without much meaning?

Does this means he loves me?

Is one month too soon to fall in love?

How do men fall in love?

It probably means you have small breasts. :D

How do men fall in love?

These are exceptionally good questions....

For discussion, with him, over a good quality cappuccino and a pastry.

What better way to know how your specific guy thinks?

It means that he wants to get in your pants :)

I'm still snorting over what TaraMaiden wrote.

"I fell in love with your eyes first" is something that would induce projectile vomiting in me, personally, but I concur that he wants to get into your pants.

Maybe, just maybe, you have pretty eyes.

Yes, it could mean that he likes your eyes.

So this does not necessarily equate to "I love you"?

BTW: We've slept together so I don't think his trying to get into my pants, since he's been there.

OK... I am admittedly a bit of a sap, but maybe he does love your eyes. Maybe just maybe he was testing the water a little. To see how you would react. I have fallen in love in a month. :) I am far from a pro but I would say don't read to much into it. I would guess you have beautiful eyes, and they would be worth loving! :)

It's called hedging your bets, tentatively probing for a response, either spoken or physical. He could have said "I really fancy jumping your bones", but you might have construed that to mean that he was only interested in dipping his wick in a warm, wet, sticky and complaint hole with a remotely attached brain and vocal box somewhere. Personally, I am quite taken by the quaint notion that there is a brain and voice driving the motivations of the kitty below. Weird innit?

Women over the millennia seem to have got completely obsessed with the notion that men, per se, only want sex. That is undoubtedly true for a minority, and the younger and more inexperienced they are, the more likely it is that is your "prime directive".

However, as you get older, more experienced, you do realise that with privilege there does come responsibility, that the privilege has greater intrinsic value and meaning with that responsibility, ie actually caring for and about the other person. Otherwise you might as well just invest in a Fleshlight or similar and have a lot less grief and expense.

I swear that some day, preferably before I croak it, that I am going to work up the courage to simply say to a women, "I think you are great-looking, I like you as a person and I want to get to know you better because I am already fantasizing about the day when we might get naked together and get sweaty and icky together". I know there is less than a 10% chance of it being accepted without fuss, that the chance is closer to 50% that it is going to result in hilarious laughter and the other close to 50% chance is that they are going to shriek in either horror or disgust. But at least it won't be unambiguous and it might actually be fun finding out what the reaction actually is, in a vaguely masochistic way.

You were already over-analysing this by the first post.

Presumably you want the answer to be "yes he definitely loves you". Sorry, it's a "no, you shouldn't conclude that."

Do you enjoy your time with him? Then keep enjoying it, and don't rush it.

Where have you been all my life?

My pants aren't easy to get into, but that line would probably expedite the process greatly.

No.

Loving a physical feature doesn't mean "I love you". He means he likes your eyes.

BTW: We've slept together so I don't think his trying to get into my pants, since he's been there.

In that case, it WAS your breasts.....:D

$h1t, there bang goes the theory behind my first post. Let's drop down a peg or two and just suggest no more than the probability is that he romances women in clichés possibly because perhaps he has read one Cosmopolitan article too many on "women in love" while sitting in the dentist's waiting room.
