I've been talking to a girl I work with, she is cute an has also been screwed over in relationships. I've gone out with her in a group once and had a great time. We were texting all the time, flirting on the phone and I told her I wanted to take her out. She always said she couldn't wait to go out with me but was always busy so it still hasn't happened. Then she talked to me about going to key west on vacation together. I thought it was a big leap but what the heck, I said I'd love to. I talked about it with her, we decided it woul be in July and she was completely serious. I haven't heard from her since then which was over a week ago. I maybe sent her 3 texts total over that time to see what was up, just general "how's it going?" Messages, yet I have gotten no response. What's up?
apple OR orange Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 she was leading you on, she liked the idea of knowing you wanted to go... the basics are, now real life happened, she has vanished. Treat her like anyone who has ripped you off, dont talk to her, she has used you for something, i never stay around to work out what though, no real point. If i had $1 for every person who was going to "say / do /give me / promise to fix / do sex / go on holiday with etc"... i would never need money again. If people dont follow through there lower than the ant on the ground.

These things do happen. It's not beyond the realm of possibilities. I'd be more concerned that you two haven't even gone on a date yet, but there were plans made to go on a trip together. That seems really weird to me. It's also strange that she ignored you for a week after making these plans. I honestly couldn't tell you what that means. It doesn't look good, though.
