crimsoncurrent Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Here's the story: I've been recently texting his girl I met last semester in a class. We've had lengthy conversation through texting, mostly joking around and (from what it appears to me) flirting. I noticed I had been initiating the conversations for the most part. So, instead of being the first one to text, I waited to see if she would text me. About a week and half went by, and heard absolutely nothing from her. I finally texted her yesterday, asking how's she's been. I asked if she wanted to hangout. She said yes. We planned to hangout on Wednesday. She said she "Can't wait!" I don't understand. How can this girl be so eager to hangout with me if she doesn't even seem interested in talking to me unless I initiate the conversation? I'm afraid that she's going to bail on me. I'd appreciate if anyone can add their thoughts on the situation.
TaraMaiden Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 You're a freind who happens to be a 'boy'. She's treating you the way she would treat any freind. Chatty if you're there and in the loop, no bother if you ain't. If you want to make headway with this gorl, you have to let her know you're not satisfied with being consigned to the 'friend-zone'. You have an ulterior motive. She has none. You want more. She seems to not get it.... 1
Author crimsoncurrent Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 Thanks so much, makes so much sense now. You break scenarios down so concisely, easy for the person to look at it more objectively. Again, thanks so much.
