redblack66 Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I asked my girlfriend to move in with me. We are perfect in many ways. However, she is very abusive: she calls me nearly every day f* you, retard, stupid, idiot, etc. I do not tolerate this, and made it clear many times. Well, I learned she was arranging a date from my house with some of her previous buddies. So, after she lied about it, then admitted, I asked her to move out. She did not, so I called the police and they removed her. I feel bad about taking such extreme measures, but I begged her to be smart. I just got an email from her saying "f* off and die, you are mentally ill". It does not bother me, but I am wondering if this hate is a mixture of love-hate. What is your view friends? Did I do the right thing?
aisuru Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I think you are worthy of respect. Therefore, I think you should not tolerate that behavior and did what was best for you. NO CONTACT. Don't allow her to suck you into her world of crazy. 1
soccerrprp Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 You did the right thing! Mixture of love-hate?????? There was NO love in what she was doing to you. NONE.
Author redblack66 Posted May 19, 2013 Author Posted May 19, 2013 Yes, I guess there was not real love in the first place. One cannot love somebody and insult on a daily basis, several times a day. 1
avelonia2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 You definitely did the right thing! Abusive people are incapable of love and only care about themselves.
strozzap Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Careful buddy I hope she's not one of those "Jodi Arias" girl...
lemonadekiwi Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 you 100% did the right thing...you deserve better than that.
