dresaidwhat Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 My best male friend & I have known each other for 6 years but recently became close about 2 years ago we spent almost everyday together just hanging out going on walks . Well one night we decided to go to the beach we walked the pier then went & sat on the sand talked about life then he caught me off guard by asking if I mind if he kissed me I skipped the question twice eventually he asked a third time & I said no I don't mind so we smooched on the lips after that night we continued going on walks we did talk about it after it happened . During that time he would text me "Good morning beautiful" "Hey sexy" & would say stuff like "whoever marrys you is a lucky man" . These last 2 months he's kind of been distant he asked why I don't text him anymore I'm just confused on what he wants I'm really shy so it's hard to just come out & ask him .
skywriter Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Wow, what a sweet story. He sounds like a keeper. Friends first is very wise. Don't be afraid to tell him you aren't sure what he wants. Reach out and meet him half way. If he's taken the time to get to know you as a friend first, he's worth the effort and he obviously thinks that you are worth the time and effort.
