Went on this date with this guy. It turned into a second date a few days later. Second date he put his hand on my hand, we had a good conversation, a few times we locked eyes for several seconds, he paid for the dinner, caught him staring at my chest several times, he said I looked good, he walked me to my car with his hand on the small of my back, and I guess I tried to kiss him thinking he was trying to kiss me and then after the kiss he looked at me weird, then kinda walked off and mumbled goodbye and I haven't heard from him since. was I too forward? did he think I was rejecting him? I just don't understand! I really liked the guy! I texted him a week later with no response. WTH?

Let it go... It was a second date and he just wasn't in the same spot you were for whatever reason. Dog pissed in his cheerios, he wasn't interested, he lost his job that day.

You didn't do anything wrong and you were pretty direct and confident. There could be a number reasons really. It could be that he was dating multiple ladies and while he found you attractive, some other lady beat you to the punch and poof he's gone. He might come back to you when things don't work out if he does. Keep dating and you'll find one that cares for you.
