Seen a profile of a woman on pof whose headline said "Drama need not apply" so I said I need to mess with this one lol. I messaged her "Hi I need to fill out an application for drama" and she replied. Here's our conversatin: Her "Ha. Any crazy ex's? Any crazy baby mamas? Are you on bi polar medication? Should you be on bi polar medication? Do you have issues with being honest? Do you have issues with commitment? Do you like dogs?". Me:

"Woah!

I have ex's but wouldn't classify them as crazy and no I'm not on meds (no offense taken if you were wondering). I'm very honest and am open to commitment but I'm not going to commit to just anyone young lady. That's why when I date I take it slow, I don't try to bed women right away and that's actually casued me to lose some women becuase they thought I wasn't interested. I'm a man so of course I want to get physical but what's the point if it's not going to lead to something exlcusive??"

Her: "And dogs??"

Me: "Oh it looks like I left that out. I LOVE dogs!"

Her: "Oh good:) You're allowed to text me now. My name is x 555-555-5555"

WOW! Should I even bother??

Hey, I think I chatted with her the other day! :D I stayed away, of course. Too many exes as friends in my life and that would have been difficult to explain later.......jk.

She's probably used to having bfs that are like this ^. Edgey, guys with some menace in their character. Just does not like the other BS that often comes along in time. She'll likely find you too boring/conventional (no offence meant), but since you started this off with a 'eh what the hell, lets have some fun' attitude. Keep it going I reckon.

You're asking our permission to mess with someone on POF?

Don't tease the animals.

I would have decided not to reply when she referred to someone who could be the mother of your child as a "baby mama"... gosh I hate that phrase.

Do you like girls with a sense of humor? If so, then yes, bother. She was joking around with you.

one I hate is "baggage" usually used to describe children but can also be used to describe any sort of life experiences.

Most people online aren't half as crazy as you think they are. Everyone's just way too quick to judge/label people.

Take heed from what CC12 and Camel Toe have said.

There is a chance she was kidding but given her headline, her questions and the fact that she asked "what about dogs" when I left that answer out tells me otherwise IMO.

"What about dogs" was part of the witty banter that you were engaging in without even being aware of. She thought you were kidding around in your initial message, and she joked back with you.

I can't be the only one who saw that whole exchange as a fun, flirty interaction.

It's a humour thing. When I was dating I'd sometimes send a message which went something like this:

"Hey, it's cool to see you're such a driven and passionate person. I think it's very important to have goals and ambitions in life. With that in mind, I'd like to ask you an important question:

What's your favourite pizza topping?"

I sure hope it is. TBS there are a lot of headlines on POF in my area that seem negative. Like "No games" "Any honest men left" "Where are all the honest people?" etc.

Here's her entire profile:

I'm a x year old woman. I live alone. I go to work. I pay my bills. I hang out with friends and family on the weekend. I'm looking for something that could potential be serious. If you're on here for kickes and giggles, a booty call ect... I'm not for you.

On pizza? I like to think I'm open minded enough to try that.

No anchovies though. That's just sick

Am I the only one who is more put off by the apostrophe abuse than the content of the message? Sigh. Haha...

NOW I see it! I thought she was serious because of her headline and it looks like I stumbled into something lol. I wouldn't be surprised because the last time I had sex I stumbled into it!

She's being flirty and funny. She is demonstrating how flirting isn't about being nice and friendly, but about edging the conversation to the point of some sort of friendly tension. It's like a sporting event where you challenge, and respond, and challenge back, and when both are in top form, you have something really great. Struggling men, take note!

She was flirting while ascertaining whether you A) have a bunch of personality disorders and dramatic baggage and B) have a sense of humor. All part of the process of getting to know someone. I fail to see an issue here other than spotty grammar. She seems to have decided she likes you enough to give her personal contact info, but then she also seems to have assumed you were reading her tone correctly and not just writing to mess with her.

That's possible like a joke with an alterioir motive. I guess I jumped the gun because of all the other negative headlines. TBS I've never been good at back and forth banter, I'm pretty funny and can be witty but I'm not witty in a quick comeback sense if that makes sense. I had a similar situation I posted about a while back so mabye it's something I've learned about how some womwn tease/banter!

We've been texting and she seems pretty cool so far:) We'll see what happens we may have date this weekend depending on our scheds.
