Whats up people? I've recently haven't been having much luck with girls I like in terms of looks and I was thinking it may be down to how I look personally. This is mainly for the OLD scene since a couple of girls I contacted wouldn't even give me the time of day. It wasn't the messages either.

 

If this is against the rules or looked down upon I apologize but I feel like nobody has given me a unbiased opinion on my looks since my friends/family wouldn't offend me and I not really gonna stop someone in the street to ask lol.

You're cute. You should get a hairstyle and find a clothing style that works for you. Do it up and work on confidence. OLD is terrible for most people.

I have some suggestions about OLD photos. No pictures with animals unless it's your dog. No pictures in bright sunlight, since it makes you squint and makes you look pale. Your clothes need to be more stylish. You need a better haircut, possibly consider a very short style, but get advice from a professional hairstylist, not just a barber. Have the picture taken in an attractive place. The background looks like an old farm building. Possibly consider growing a short beard to make you look more edgy and which may help your facial contours. Those would be my suggestions offhand.

Kathy I used the one with the donkey because Its a fun photo of me goofing off lol. Its not the one I used in the dating site. My clothes I honestly like but I agree I may need a new hair style.

Just giving you a woman's perspective. Your donkey is cute, but definitely keep him off the dating site photos. ;) Definitely clothes and hairstyle need some work. And I think a short beard would be good. JMO.

I do appreciate all the feed back from everyone :) just thought I'd make sure everyone knew this wasn't the photo I used. If I did the Donkey would get more dates then me lol.

Like mentioned above I too would suggest perhaps some change in style, not that your current style is bad, however, I think you could do better! (Not to be taken badly)

 

Here's a quick tip!

 

Being from England I'm not entirely sure what clothes stores are around in the US, apart from all the big labels of course! Just sort of figure out your price range that you would like to spend on clothes and things like that and pick two, maybe three clothes stores that you like!

 

There will always be people standing around the store that are there to help you, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS! Find a lady who works there (Around your age if possible!) and simply ask her to help you pick out some clothes because you want to better your image and style... She cannot say no, it's her job! Also, being a woman she knows what would look good on you and what would attract her most to you (This is just simple, any woman who picks clothes for you is going to make you look most desirable to her as she can, this is because she's not going to put you in clothes or give you a style which she doesn't like!)

 

So, not only are you getting a better style for yourself but you also know it definitely suits you as someone has helped you do it! Just a bonus as well, when you're talking if things go well you can always try asking her for her number right? No harm in trying!

 

You can also do this for your hair style! I've always said I wouldn't go cheap on a haircut! So find a well known Barbers or Hairdressers and when they ask you what you want just tell them you don't know.. Tell them you just want a fresh new haircut and ask them to do what they think would look best!

 

Now, again you know it'll suit you because these people are professionals and know what kind of hair style looks good on what kind of people! Again, if it's a women cutting your hair and you get talking and all goes well, try asking for her number?

Not denying that I am insecure but there's a difference between asking for an unbiased opinion of how I look and asking someone to tell me I look good. The former is perfectly normal at least in my book.

I think that you are very good looking. If I saw you at a bar or something, I wouldn't mind if you tried to talk to me or something.

 

I was just thinking that it might not be your looks that are getting you rejected. Are you trying to pursue a certain type of girl? Do they all seem to have specific physical characteristics or personality traits?

 

Just some things to think about. Maybe if you expand your parameters, you would meet more women and have more luck.

Hey girls/guys thanks for all the feedback I really appreciate it all :)

 

This is a more current photo of me. I generally like short hair and I couldn't be asked to shave to there you go haha. I look a little scruffy but thats because I was fishing and the boat was moving fast.
