bob the brave Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Another guy and me both liked the same girl. After they hooked up he came to me in private, got right up in my face and said, "I ****ed her and there is nothing you can do about it." just to hurt me and stroke his ego. I had done nothing to this point but been kind to this guy. Do you think this is just normal competitive guy behavior or is this over the top cruel? I really liked this girl a lot and he knew it. This happened at the workplace as we all work together and it is a small company. Should I tell her?
USMCHokie Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Should I tell her? This is one of the reasons why you don't sh*t where you eat. I'm so glad I don't work with women... But yea, why not? Just to see what happens.
Keenly Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Should have responded with I'll blank her better so that she forgets all about you. 1
Pistol pete Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Have you ever seen the film Wanted? This is what you need to do! lol (guy had been screwing his gf for months) 2

Treasa Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 "That's funny. I was going to tell you the same thing about your mom." Eh, I dunno, I'd just let it go. I don't deal with idiots anymore.

I would just let it go, he is not worth it and if she chose him over you she is not worth it either. There is people who only feel good about themselves if they show others that they are less than them, I guess your colleague is one of those, the big picture is that he will never enjoy what he has and therefore he will never be happy. Do you want to screw him back? Live your life and be happy and totally ignore him. 1

How did you come to this conclusion...?
therhythm Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 How did you come to this conclusion...? People who need to pull down other people to feel good with themselves will never enjoy what they have because they will always feel the need to compare it with other people. They always need to be the first, the most handsome, the most intelligent, etc. The need of this guy to tell OP that he was first and that he had sex with the woman OP was attracted to is clearly a guy who live his live as a competition. There it is where I draw my conclusion from. 2
Bryanp Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I think you should most certainly tell the girl exactly what he said. Make him uncomfortable and it will look like you are trying to save her reputation. You come out looking like the good guy.

It will make him look needy and the other guy could say that he is making it up. I don't think will add any value at this moment of time since OP doesn't have any proof about this. 1
Darren Steez Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 So, Guy A & B like the same girl, she bangs Guy B, now Guy A wants to tell her Guy B told him they banged? So Guy A, what exactly does it have to do with you? I'd say you lost so move on, let the guy run his mouth, I'm guessing he's not your pal anymore for rubbing it in like that. Just leave them both alone and get over it.
