Sofienoneya Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I've been a nervous reck for a few days. I have had my suspuctions, for years what do I do? Have any advice. I caught my husband doing some thingson the computer he shouldn't have been doing. I found it in the history, I wastrying to find the name of an old web site I couldn't remeber. A non-gay man doesn’tlook up naked men & women from all over the world. It made me wonder whyMen? Why not just woman??? I decided to Google "I think my husband is Gay,this web site popped up so I stared reading and found some interestingarticles. Some scared me, and some I trulely found inspirational. Please giveany input you may be useful/helpful.
2sure Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 His porn and fantasy preferences, as long as they are legal, might not have much to do with what he would like in real life. And since he likes porn with both men and women...he might be curious but certainly not gay
CarrieT Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Sofie, a lot of people look at porn for scenes and pictures that interest or tantalize, but that they would NEVER act upon. It is part of the psyche of fantasies... those secret recesses of the mind that often cannot be explained. I look at rape porn. My fiance knows that I look at rape porn but that does not mean - in any way, shape or form - that I want that to happen to me. If you cannot openly talk with your husband about what you have found and there are no other actions to make you suspicious that he might be cheating (hiding texts on his phone, taking un-accounted for time away from you, secret email accounts), then you just have to let it go. The importance of a healthy marriage is open communication. If you do not have that type of relationship, then you cannot assume his fantasies have any meaning. 2
SincereOnlineGuy Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 A non-gay man doesn’t look up naked men & women from all over the world. Why did you even bother posting here when you had already made conclusions? It is purely foolish to imagine a straight guy looking at heterosexual porn from all over the world and expecting to get very far without seeing any men in the porn. While it may be very true that a purely heterosexual man doesn't have any interest in gay (male) porn, what you wrote doesn't make much sense.
HonestNeurotic Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Porn preferences mean NOTHING. I like to look at gay porn and I'm not even a guy. My husband likes some of the most scandalous S & M stuff, mostly very arty, and he doesn't even like sex at all really. One time in the past year and then 20 months before that. And most porn has men and women in it - - - -
SincereOnlineGuy Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Porn preferences mean NOTHING. Well, at least you're honest. But your reasoning makes no sense. It would be akin to my saying that I like to look at lesbian porn and I'm not even female. That would-be line of mine is factually accurate, yet it doesn't prove anything at all!! PS - your husband probably likes sex, but just...
