Based on comments received on my threads here, and seen on other threads here there is a certain idea of a "normal" relationship.

It begins a certain way. It progresses a certain way.

To me a normal relationship has started out with being friends, coworkers, or classmates. We get to know eachother as such. Then we get closer. Then we get to be more like a couple. Then one day we wake up and viola we are in a relationship. In this style of building a relationship labeling, and knowing just what the lines are is not always clear.

It seems that the way I go about this is abnormal. So I am told so many tmes here for the last many years.

So can someone please tell me just what a normal relationship looks like? Is there really such a thing.

Seriously describe one for me because I really don't know what one is. Apparently there are certain parameters outside of which any more complexity is unbelievable.

Describe one for me, so that I may abandon what ever it is I have now and find such a sweet simple thing as a normal and uncomplicated relationship.

Tell me the steps in detail.
