Apparently the whole first floor of his parents house is a "bar" (and according to the picture he showed me, yes indeed it is). I lean towards non-conventional with my way of thinking......but I feel like I need a reality check........am I crazy to even consider this?

This isn't even a good reason. "Let's go back to my parents' house and get drunk." Oooh, baby, take me right here for saying that.
