dudley87 Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Hi guys, just wanted some feedback on behalf of a mate of mine, basically his gf dumped him and he never spoke to her for 3 months then one day he messages her and asks how shes doing, she replys by saying everything is fine and since that day she tells him her problems that have occured daily, he says she only messages when she feels like it and when he messages her she replies after hours, theres no sign of her saying she wants him back but she did say to him that hes best off keeping his distance from her? She randomly asks for help if she needs like websites for things she wants to buy otherwise she doesnt message, is she just using him? He disagrees
CelticGibson Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I don't think she's using him, if he hasn't made his intentions clear. She may think he's over the relationship and everything is cool. After all, he contacted her right? This is classic "Friendzone" territory. Notice she is telling him all her problems, much like she would tell a friend. She would not do this for a romantic interest because she would want to be on her best behaviour and not show any complacency. Think about it, if you were into someone, would you let your guard down and show everything? No, you would want to show only your best side because you fear turning them off. Also her asking for help shows that she thinks it's cool to just ask a friend, someone she's familiar with for help. If this guy is interested, he should make his intentions known and let her decide if she wants to try again or not. If he gets the "let's just be friends" or "I need time to think" then he should stop contacting her otherwise he will be just the friend she will contact when she needs something or is bored.
