aussietigerwolf Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 i broke up with this guy long distance because he wasn't and didn't want to move here plus a few other things that didn't add up. also i met someone here who was perfect for me. now i told him why when i broke up with him but he doesn't believe me and keeps on calling, texting, emailing and so on. telling me he loves me (we met once) and wants to work it out... what do I do? i've been ignoring him but don't know if thats the best way.
Zahara Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 You met once? Gosh. You already explained your position so keep on ignoring. If you can't give him what he wants, then go silent. He will get it through his head at some point. What would you suggest other than ignoring to be the best way? 1
mbee Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Yes, ignore it. It's the nicest thing you can do for him. I've been down that road before. When you keep being nice and responding it will give him false hope. Take a solid good time and ignore him. If you want to be friends then contact him after a year if that's something you still want. It sucks ignoring people, but in the long run you aren't giving him mixed signals.
