Brahtha Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 This girl I recently met agreed to go out on a date with me. I asked her the week before and agreed to go out sometime between the next Thurs/Fri. Following week, Monday afternoon she texts that she's free after work on Thursday. I told her I'd pick her up after work around 6pm. She told me okay but remind her. I read a thread somewhere in the forum saying you shouldn't remind a girl. Does that apply if she asks you to, or you shouldn't regardless she asked or not?
pyramid Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Don't be obvious about it. "Looking forward to seeing you. Does 6 pm still work?"
soccerrprp Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Don't be obvious about it. "Looking forward to seeing you. Does 6 pm still work?" This and yes, remind her. She asked you to. Why even the suggestion of a game with someone you haven't even met???? Come on! Don't listen to people who are into games.
carhill Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 She told me okay but remind her. Text her this evening, presuming the date is after work tomorrow, and remind her. Absent a cancellation, then show up to pick her up. That's it. If she cancels, it's her responsibility to reschedule. Don't press that issue. If she flakes, erase. Good luck and I hope the date goes well.
carhill Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Yep, 'I'll be by at 6pm tomorrow to pick you up. Looking forward to it'
