BluEyeL Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Just (very easily!) found a domestic violence case against him. Next! Wow!! That's amazing/shocking!
Author Star Gazer Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 How did you find it? An online, public court records site for my county that up until now I just used to verify divorces. 1
apple OR orange Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 i play the games fair now, everyone lies on the internet, so do i...
Author Star Gazer Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Exactly what did it say? He was found guilty or that he was arrested. Irrelevant, as far as I'm concerned.
Author Star Gazer Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Actually it does some women lie! There's been cases where the women totally lied about the case and even admitted later on. The guy lied about his name, called women "crazy match bitches," and has a domestic violence filing against him. Cumulatively, isn't that enough? There are PLENTY of fish in the sea. This one has already been tossed back. 4
tbf Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Actually, this is a great thread for the guys to observe women's intuition in action. It's not what you think it is, in that there's an actual evaluation process that happens, rather than some mysterious supernatural manifestation. 3

It's not what you think it is, in that there's an actual evaluation process that happens, rather than some mysterious supernatural manifestation. Precisely. I knew something was off the moment my friend said, "Oh yeah, Mark!" Ironically, Mark and I ran the same race last week, and quite literally crossed paths, and we share about 50 friends in common. There was no way this information would have been kept hidden for long... Intuition worked rapidly this time, just a matter of hours. I'm getting better, TBF! Be proud!! 3
MsSmurf Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Just (very easily!) found a domestic violence case against him. Next! Holy cow! Well now we know why he lied about his name!
serial muse Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Just (very easily!) found a domestic violence case against him. Next! Whoa! So he turned out to be one of those crazy Match b*tches. Irony, thy name is Mark. 8
curlygirl40 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Hi Star! I admit that I haven't read all 4 pages of this thread before I am commenting, but I could immediately relate to Joe.....er...Mark. I have a very public type job and I'm SO easy to find on the internet. Actually if a guy just knows my first name and the town I work in, he will find PAGES of stuff about me on the internet. My blog, my phone number, my office location. And then once they have my full name they can go to the court website and find my address and my ex's address because of my divorce. This scares the crap out of me sometimes but I do it anyway. Give people my name, my phone number, etc. I try to be cautious until I know they are not a Match psycho (ha, kidding), but I worry about it. Because of that I would give him a break. However I think there may have been better ways for him to handle it. I have been tempted to intentionally misspell my first name for that reason, there are several variations of spellings for it. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

Looks like he was hiding his real name for a reason that had nothing to do with 'local celebrity'! Moving on, moving on..... 1
Author Star Gazer Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Dude. She didn't even meet him, and once things began to turn shady she got suspicious, found out the truth and promptly nexted him (against the advice of some people on this thread who said she was being overly suspicious, BTW). What part of that isn't healthy? Not really seeing the point of any argument here. Edited to add: Re: your last post - uh, as far as I can tell Star was the solutions-oriented one here, and you're the one venting your emotions. The point of the thread was about whether this guy was shady, and he is. Done and done. No point in continuing unless you've got emotions to vent. Spot on, every word. ^5.
Els Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Just (very easily!) found a domestic violence case against him. Next! Ohhhh, man. Huge bullet dodged here! Good thing you found all this stuff out before meeting him, Star. Onwards. 1
