I'm 19 and single, I'm 6'4

Posted

You had me at tall.

You lost me at 19.

Don't worry foo. If girls don't like you it's got nothing to do with height.

I'm 4' 10".

My ex was 6' 5".

My current husband (:p) is 5' 9"

I don't care how tall the guy is.

It's all in the same place, lying down....

This is funny but not really true. I kinda like being suffocated by a big chest.

I am sure many can understand ;)

Being tall is a plus. I personally prefer to date men taller than me and I'm 5'8"

No, I know it's not really true..... but every situation has its benefits/drawbacks.

I have to say, I couldn't dance romantically with my ex.

It kinda blows any feeling of romance to dance to "Once, twice, three times a lady" while your nose is buried in someone's belly-button....

I met a female athlete that very same height who I absolutely would have dated.

I wonder how tall that dancing hurdler chick is?........

Just take a look at any OLD profiles...The very first thing the women list as wants is TALL.

Makes us vertically challenged guys want to find the nearest bridge and jump.:(

Frankly, I just dont get it. I am bigger, stronger, and can do anything anyone 6' plus can do(except maybe get something off the top shelf). I am like 5'6-7 maybe..Something else to consider, once guys get a little older tall guys have more problems with knees, backs, etc. Thats a fact that my Orthopedic surgeon cousin verified.

OP, you won the lottery in this game..Have at em...They dont want us...

Not sure about suffocated but yes, long, strong arms and body that wrap around you, the lanky way they move, all angles, sinew, muscle and hair. :bunny::bunny:

It all depends on preference. I'm 5'3". You're a bit too tall for me. I prefer men not to be too much taller than me. My husband is 5'9" and it works just great for me.

Height don't mean jack **** when it comes to chest size, sister. I know I can suffocate a girl with my man pillows if I felt like it. If that isn't enough for you, my chest measures 40"+ non-inhaled. I'm 5'9.

man-pillows! Bahahaha. I literally laughed out loud. Also, if your display picture is you, I find you very attractive by the way. Just thought I'd say something. :o

OP, 6'4 is WAAAY too tall for me (I'm 5'5) but seriously, the first thing listed on a girl's ideal requirements is "taller than me". We like feeling protected. Height is a part of that. Also, you're 19, so you don't need to worry about this too much. Figure out you before you start worrying about dating too much. Trust me.

I love tall men, especially hugging them. They make me feel small and feminine.

Right? I like my men tall and burly. I am 5'4 and my husband is 6'2.

Most women like tall men.

Im trying to figure out the logic....

So an average 5'2" woman would feel more "protected" and secure and feminine with an average 6' tall 175 lb guy as opposed to a 200 lb solid lean, muscle 5'7" guy-assuming looks were the same?(insert scratch head smiley)

Direct me to the nearest bridge, please!

I am more petite but I have always been attracted to tall dark & handsome- 6'+. The tallest serious boyfriend I had was 6'7" and to the poster who said it's all the same lying down, that is definitely NOT the case. My husband is 6'3", average build, and I do feel small & protected, but we can never slow dance.

Maybe I have a height complex because thinking about it now, my closest girlfriends are all pretty tall too--5'7"-5'10". But they actually all are attracted to & ended up marrying shorter men (see TFOY, you can get a model-type :p).

Oh, yer killin me, BP!!

I have a joke among my buddies..We are all in our forties. These guys are all 6' plus and falling apart! Bad knees, bad backs, hernias, bad hips..etc.. I havent had ANY problems whatsoever. I tell them they are like big dogs, they they die early!

Its all in fun...Im OK with my height, as an athlete I was fortunate enough to have a good body, although I probably wouldnt be if I was a scrawny 125..it just puzzles me why women seem soooo hung up on it..

I dont need a model, just give me a normal woman who isnt a nut job!

The ladies love tall men. They like to feel small, you like to feel big, everyone wins.

That just seems like oversimplification...but I get your point...

Its like this is such a high priority in women that they would sooner end up with a 6'+ dufus than a shorter guy who could easily be smarter, better built, better looking, more successful, etc but because of this mental block they will never know..The way some talk, its like height is a total dealbreaker for them It is just crazy. You would think that with women being so empowered in these days, that that level of thinking was reserved for the repressed "damsel in distress" types..

I do get why a 5'2" 125# guy might be pretty unattractive to an average woman, but why the hell do the 5'6-5-9" guys get the same cold shoulder?

It would be kinda funny if men had the same attitude about breasts..Dont apply unless you are at least a DD..And if you have implants that doesnt count..There would be an outrage!!..lol

I'm 5'11 and have found that women who are 5'4-5'6 usually want a man who is well over 6' tall, while the 5'-5'2 girls and the ones who are 5'8-5'10 don't seem to care at all. And to the guy wondering why men who are 5'8 or so get the cold shoulder it's because almost all men out there are around that height. People want exceptional when they go out looking for anything, therefore women are going to try for a guy that is 6' or taller (15% of the population) rather than a guy who is 5'9 (something like 70% of the population). Also women love to brag about their conquests just like men do so don't feel discouraged if every bimbo on the internet seems to be dating a hot 6'3 guy or whatever.
