USMCHokie Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Call Me Maybe is a second option. As long as it's an option. 1
Author Mr Scorpio Posted May 7, 2013 Author Posted May 7, 2013 Call Me Maybe...? Sorry, but I've already got a 1.3GB file of that song on a loop that I've been using for the last two months. Anything else?
Star Gazer Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 These are the songs I skip to when I'm on a particularly difficult run/race and need a boost: Remember the Name, Fort Minor Numb/Encore, JayZ/Linkin Park Crazy B*tch, Buckcherry Dancing With Myself, Billy Idol Keep Your Eyes Open, Needtobreathe I'm Gone, I'm Going, Lesley Roy Others faves on my playlist: Walk, Foo Fighters Sweeter, Gavin Degraw Run, The Knux/Kid Cudi Ready to Go, Panic! Dog Days Are Over, Florence + The Machine 3, Britney Spears
tman666 Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I really like trance music for lifting and cardio both. I don't do a ton of long cardio bouts, but I would imaging trance would jive even better with it than with lifting. Armin van Buuren and DJ Tiesto are a couple of my favorites. Also... dubstep. I don't really like it outside of the gym, but it works there for some reason. 1

Imported Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I like listening to a lot of different internet radio stations via tunein or slacker like Ibiza global, Frisky, hot 102.9, Gorilla and a bunch of others. Nearly all trance, house hip hop mix. I use this Amazon.com: NoiseHush NS560-11978 Clip-on Bluetooth Stereo Headset for all Tablet, Apple iPad/iPhone and Cell Phones - Retail Packaging - White: Cell Phones & Accessories to connect through Bluetooth to my phone and my phone streams all the music. I shortened a really good in-ear headphone to be just long enough to connect to the receiver to my ears. The receiver is clipped to my shirt collar. It is pretty much a wireless headset, plays very loud and is inexpensive. If that is not loud enough, there is this small amp that will boost it a bit. Amazon.com: FiiO E6 Portable Headphone Amplifier - Black: Electronics My first BT receiver wasn't as loud as the one I linked here and I used that amp to boost it a bit. The amp does make it more cumbersome. Luckily, the next receiver I tried played louder. I like hearing different music everyday and songs I never even heard before.
colejack Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Wolfmother's first album and Tool always seem to get me moving the best. For some reason, I also seem to go at least 1.5 MPH when Madonna is on (but don't tell anyone!) There's also this: ....40 minutes of 80's montage music.
Emilia Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Suggestions? Working harder so you are not pre-occupied with the music?
Author Mr Scorpio Posted May 9, 2013 Author Posted May 9, 2013 Working harder so you are not pre-occupied with the music? Surely you jest! I don't need any music when it comes to lifting. But cardio? Way too monotonous to jog for an hour without some music.
Harradin Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I switch between Prodigy, Pendulum and the Rocky soundtracks
