rmk232 Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I'm 21, a college student, and I work part time at a department store. I met a girl at this department store that works there also. We just opened the store in January and us both being part time our schedules are inconsistent so sometimes we see each other a few days a week there sometimes we don't for weeks. This girl is 24, shes graduated college and is in schooling at the hospital for radiology. I saw her at the bar about 3 weeks ago and she waved and went about her buisness. I didn't think much of it really. 2 weeks ago at work she asked if I was going out tonight, I said maybe I didn't really know and then she went on to say she wanted to go out but didn't have anyone to go out with. So I offered to go out with her and she asked for my phone number. She text me saying 'Hi (:' but then shenever got back to me about going out. Well this weekend I text her while at the bar for cinco de mayo on Saturday (our Mexican restaurant held an event on Saturday instead), I simply said I was surprised she wasn't here and she said she was on her way. Well I ended up leaving and when I got home she asked where I was there. The next day I text her about her not coming into work and then I explained I might be going back out that night. She replied 'come!!' and kept asking me to come out so I did. Throughout the night we were together with her friends, some of which I actually knew. She made a point to show me all sorts of things on her phone and to take pictures with me. Dance with me and so on. But I am getting mixed signals. Shes made it a point to tell me she doesnt have a boyfriend. She seemed much more friendly to me and touchy then with other guys there including other friends. So I can't tell with her if shes just super friendly or has an attraction to me that shes nervous to cross the line with because of work or she just is one of those girls that waits for the guy to make the first move. She hasnt texted me since I was with her there last night. I mean I want to text her but I don't know what shes thinking and I do have to work with this girl from time to time. Then again, she could want to text me and just be in the same situation. I honestly just want to tell her that I find her personality attractive, not say anything about her looks even though I think she is adorable, and just tell her that I'm not saying that I like her, because I don't really know her. Simply that I would like to get to know her. But I am a bit nervous, so I am quite unsure. Any advice?
JuneJulySeptember Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Forget your whole story. It doesn't mean anything. Post a picture of yourself and the girl without the story and I can tell you more accurately how much of a chance you have. That is a more accurate barometer than some "Does she like me?" story, 20 of which are posted here per week.
