Silly24 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Is there a dating website with forums for those of us over 40? POF, Datehookup and this place seem to be populated by those in their 20s. I tried E-Harmony and Match.com and both sites were pompous, expensive and lacked forums. Thoughts anyone?

FitChick Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 POF has forums for older people. I haven't been on that site for many years so maybe they are no longer there? I seem to recall most of them had given up on dating and were only there for the forums and many met offline at social gatherings.

The services that one pays for may be able to provide some access to people by age but not so with free forums. I used to be a mod and admin on one and frequented the forum for forum providers called the Admin Zone. I learned a lot about the concerns of forum providers there and that it is hard to actually get and keep an active membership much less one with people who contribute money in addition to content. LS is pretty lively. I've tried elsewhere along this theme and found nothing as good. I'm 57 (came here at 54).
