andre84 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 So I've been going through my BU with someone I was with for 3 years and known for 5. We were roommates and best friends before getting together after college. I moved 2000 miles with this person to start and life and things didn't work out and she stopped "loving" me. I have been feeling a bit better and I'm in the process of moving back home, but still miss her and keep thinking about all the good times we had together. This brings me to my questions, is there any possibility we could be friends in the future? or if that is just unrealistic? does anyone have any experience successfully being good friends with an ex? I would imagine if a break up was mutual, then it would probably be easier to stay friends. Feel free to share your experiences trying to keep a friendship after a BUI.
RiceaRoni Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Honestly, I find it unrealistic.. My BU hurt me terribly and the thought of ever being his friend when we shared such a deep connection could never be possible..yeah im over him now, but even so I still cant imagine being a friend..because we were more than that and I would always be reminded..just my thoughts
