Hey.

Ive posted before re:situation.

Ex dumped me two months ago after being together 2.5 years. Main reason - "he couldnt do I anymore" no cheating etc. On either side.

We hadnt spoke properly or seen each other since.

I reached out the other day after having a sort out and collected his stuff together.

I text about it and we have since exchanged basic stuff regarding when to do it..

Looks like its happening tomorrow.

Im worried about how it will be (awkward I assume) and if its worth trying to talk or even suggest reconciliation further down the line.

Yes I am the dumpee and shouldn't dream of it etc. etc.

But im worried about how I seem. I feel ok and pretty confident im moving forward with my life. Im just concerned that emotions may take over :S

Am I over thinking this?

Is there anyway you can get a third party to do it for you? Or leave these things somewhere? Anything to where you don't have be face to face? I feel your pain as I went through something similar...

The good news is after this, there will be nothing hanging over you. 100% free to move on

Agreed, a third party would be best- if thats not possible I would simply drop the items off without contact. It'll be MUCH easier for you. Thats what I did, and I was living with her at the time, i literally had to move eight years of my life out of that house. I did it whike she was at work- haven't physically seen her in what will be a year at the end of May.
