Last week my crush and I were texting each other and we got into a little fight (my fault). She asked me why I was playing games, so I just expressed how I felt. And she stopped responding. I felt bad about it so I finally decided to tell her how I TRULY felt about her. About 2 days after, I emailed her and said "I've been wanting to tell you something for the longest, but I never had the courage to say it. So I'm just going to say it now, I love you... I've fallen for you."

We both like each other and told each other that we do, but we can't go out beacuse she's away for six months in South Africa for work. Anyway it's been about a week since I told her, should I just give her more time or let it be?

Hopefully you've learned a lesson. Never let a woman know you're more interested than she is. Hope you get over it soon.

Interesting expression.

That kind of text is too importantnot to promptly return a response one way or the other. Could be the message got dropped? She might have just missed reading it. If she did get it, she is pretty callus chica.

One mistake we often make in times of miscommunication is start imagining all kinds of reasons on our own and tie them to our egos and self-esteem. I think it should have been done earlier, but at this point I would treat it similar to a business deal. Just text back and say hey, did you get my email? Can you call her?

If she dosen't reply to any of these attempts, move on.

She checks her email everyday so she did get my email. A lot of my friends keep telling me to give her space and more time for her to process everything. And you're right, I shouldn't imagine all the negatives to her not responding. Maybe she is just scared and doesn't know what to say back, I mean I did drop a bombshell on her and all.

I admire what you did......so many men these days are to scared to stand up adn say how they really feel, women have had to take that role....doesnt feel quite right to me.....anyway ...what you did was brave and honest and showed integrity...more men should step up like you have......you might not get the girl but you know what? you just may get her....and that will be because you bothered to take a risk and put your heart on the line for her....i wish you the best and i do hope you get the girl...rock on..:D..deb

I disagree. What the heckola is the point of being yourself, living your life w/o regrets, if you can't express your true feelings for someone?! The biggest regret would have been not to have told her and she goes bye bye or to someone else w/o her knowing it.

I told my late wife after dating for 2-weeks I loved her and I knew she didn't feel the same at the time. I married her 9 months after that.

I told another woman and I got a response that I will never forget, regret. It didn't work out, but WHOOOWHEEEE :), it was the best was to end things that I could have ever dreamed up.
