RomanceLow Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Letting go is something i'm having a lor of trouble doing. It sucks to the extreme. I feel sad, confused, and stupid at times. This guy who almost cheated on me twice is always in my head. After meeting up once we agreed to be friends and one day he said he hopes to be with me again. I can't carry this fantasy anymore he'll never change. I text him and he gives me the cold shoulder... How do I let go of someone I was and am so fond over? Do I just stop talking to him or do i tell him my feelings?
SmokeRat Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 My STBXW, has played that 'maybe in five years, we can get back together' card. It's bullcrap. Plain and simple. I'm still not over my wife, and I figure it'll takes ages before I am 100% again. You need to surround yourself with people who understand and care for you. You need to vent, get angry, RAGE like crazy. This 'man' admitted to acts of infidelity (no such thing as almost cheating), that alone should cause you anger and resentment. And this is healthy, that anger and resentment will stop you from running back into his arms. Everytime you start to feel something for him, or start wanting him back, just remember that he threw you to the side for another woman, and also lied about it. People say good things comes to those that wait. Bullcrap. Good things come to those that work their asses off. So start working your ass off to forget this man, trust me, it gets easier as the days go by. 3

Someone that puts you to the side and toys with your emotions and self esteem is really not someone worth losing any sleep over. Drop him, block him and find someone much better (which shouldn't be that difficult really )
