Green Light Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Maybe it's me. Maybe it's the women I gravitate towards but it seems like they are all or nothing. Tons of communication or nothing. Excited or ambivalent. And the age doesn't seem to matter. I know I'm making a blanket statement but it's happened enough that I notice a trend.
pbjbear Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 YES...Ive noticed a trend in the current dating climate of people either being 1) the type that need to date/be in a relationship to be happy or 2) people that dont really like to date and put little effort/commitment into it. Not everyone though! Most of the guys Ive dated have either been too clingy or nonchalant (IMO), but a few havent. So I see what youre saying!!! I dont know.

Are the same women blowing hot and cold or is it that you perceive female behaviours within the dating arena as trending hot or cold on a spectrum, with little in between?

A trend in the dating/relationship arena in general. I should probably also note that much of this has been online but I've also experienced it in real life as well.

I know what you mean but I'm talking about individuals who one day will be so nice and friendly and then the next day act cold and indifferent for no apparent reason. Like mood swings. Maybe I'm just picking these types of women? Or maybe the internet cause highs and lows? I don't know.

I'm going with your explanation of either picking them, or perhaps interpreting things differently from how they were intended. Most females I know, myself included, experience and demonstrate a wide range of emotions. Mine tend to be happy, excited, annoyed, pissed, resigned, stupid, sleepy, incoherent, silly, and sad.

But do you go from happy to pissed instantly or is there some transition time? Also if you are in a bad mood are you still like the same person or do you act completely different? What I've been experiencing has been really extreme. Like a roller coaster. It's like either up or down. I'm trying to figure out why I pick women like this.

Now whatever negative emotion I get to, I tend to get to it slowly, and then bounce back to happy/excited right away. I think it still might be the age. What age range are you referring to?
