brunette4u Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 I just want a general concensus. I am 21 years old, and still have not yet found the man I want to marry. Am I being irrational to think that my time has passed? I just feel old, I am fixing to graduate college and go into the "real" world. Do you'll think I am being ridiculous? Is 21 considered "young" in the dating world? Thanks for any replies!
HokeyReligions Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 I was 26, my husband was 34. First marriage for both of us. One of my co-workers is 32 and she has never been married or is seeing anyone seriously. You have PLENTY of time!
Merin Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Yes it is irrational to think that time has passed you by because you haven't met the man you want to marry yet and you're 21. Take your time, don't stress over it or worry.... In taking your time you won't be later telling the story of how you married your husband when you were 21 and now you're 28 and divorced because you rushed into it.
moimeme Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I think it's much smarter to marry closer to 30. So will you, in a few years.
kellyp1 Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I was almost married at 24 but didn't and now I am 33 and still haven't met "him". Keep the faith, if I can, you can.
